For side-by-side compatibility with WinFormResizer for .NET® 1.1, WinFormResizer for .NET® 2.0 uses the "ExtendedBackground on winFormResizer1" -> "ImageLayoutStyle" property to determine how an image will be scaled at run time:

This property overrides the control's "BackgroundImageLayout" property, unless "ImageLayoutStyle" is set to "Framework". In which case, the control’s background image is drawn according to its "BackgroundImageLayout" property without any scaling applied:

For example, to Center and Scale a control's background image while resizing at run time set the "ImageLayoutStyle" property to "CenterAndScale":
